Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world.

I was a successful teacher and head of a department in a large secondary school. Following a major burnout, which resulted in chronic fatigue symptoms, I started my own personal growth journey. After pursuing many healing treatments I found that a combination of life coaching, meditation, breathing, yoga and the chi machine were the keys to living a full and happy life. However, there were still some dips. When I used the Gupta Programme, I was able to put the icing on the cake and deal very quickly with any dips. Although I only found the Gupta Programme in 2009 it embodies all that I have learned through my own research, reading and experiences. So I am delighted to see a total dvd programme that gives people the tools to recover. Another part of my journey included overcoming my lifetime struggle with food and dieting. I have given up restrictive dieting and healed my relationship with food and my body and maintained my natural body weight for years. I am now celebrating that through my own journey I am able to coach others back to health and happiness quickly and efficiently.

Testimonials

I wasn't sure what you could offer. But I found that you started where I was.  I liked that we didn't get bogged down in analysing the past. Just start here, fresh, today. Every day is a fresh day with the possibility of different choices. The challenge of the work I did with you was to examine the underlying patterns of my life that creating stress and unhealthy patterns. You showed me that these were the keys to making a different future. I thought I wasn't dieting but I was judging the kinds of food I eat. So now I am freer in my eating and have more choice. What I liked about your work was that it all came down to 'am I hungry?'.

It's easy to learn the restorative postures and breathing, which is great as I was so tired. And the coaching support enabled me to keep motivated with practising the techniques and overcoming my emotional blocks.

Thank you for being so incredibly patient - even with a neurotically self-conscious client like me! The most important learning for me was that Yoga Therapy is not about forcing myself to do something I can't do, but about relaxing into what I can do.

I always felt totally supported by you and able to speak about anything without judgement. And the guidance at the beginning to really listen to my emotions and be guided by what they were telling me was really fundamental in helping me start to live my life the way that I wanted. I have many hobbies now that I really enjoy, especially singing. I've left behind things that I thought I 'should' do. And although it's been a good year since I've had coaching, the guidance and advice is still having an impact, and helping me to make appropriate choices for my work and leisure time. Life feels exciting.
