Yoga will

Yoga, as a system, extends beyond physical postures, to include breath control, meditation and deep relaxation. The benefits from a yoga session will stay with you afterwards and eventually, if you cultivate a regular practice, you will develop an increased awareness of what is going on in your body and mind so that you can begin to change old negative patterns of thought and detrimental bodily habits.

While physical exercise generally is important to maintain health and well-being, we need more in our contemporary times. We can learn, through yoga, to develop our own centre of stillness and quietness, our own "inner sanctuary" without withdrawing from our loved ones. Yoga in particular can provide an effective way to deal with that all too familiar feeling of "Stop the world, I want to get off!" without totally losing control and damaging yourself or others.

Golightly provide yoga classes in your workplace to fit in with your timetable. Our classes are designed to help participants learn how to deal effectively with stress, improve concentration, develop better breathing habits, make better use of energy, improve body awareness and "reconnect" body and mind.

Our fully qualified instructors draw from a variety of relaxation techniques and hatha and yin yoga principles to teach you/your staff useful strategies to help break down habitual responses to stress. You/your staff will learn to retrain your body and mind so that you do not automatically respond to stress in ways that serve to increase tension in negative and debilitating ways.

Lessons can be at your home or at work.

With Golightly, a one-one-one session is tailored to fit the needs of you, so beginners can work on the fundamentals and more experienced students can work with specific needs.
